Been listening to Field Music’s “Measure” record – definitely one of my favorite releases of the year. So when I found out they were playing DC, I jumped at the opportunity.

Pittsburgh
Our Pittsburgh show has unfortunately fallen under the blindingly white axe of the second blizzard.
This hopefully concludes the Great Tour Bummer of 2010. We are still planning on playing Elizabethtown, PA on Saturday, knock on wood.
Blizzard – I’d rather have mine with Heath Bar
Unless you’re living under a snow-covered rock, you know about the intense one-two blizzard punch that is now socking the northeastern seaboard in its glass jaw. Well, the first snow knocked out our shows in DC and Wilkes-barre, and now the second one has put shows in NYC and Philadelphia down for the count.
We didn’t take this lightly, but here’s what it looks like here, before the second blizzard has its way with us:

So do what we’re doing: stay inside until Thursday, and then get to Pittsburgh, where we’ll hopefully play our show at Lava Lounge (weather permitting), and then to Elizabethtown PA, where we hit Folklore Coffee on Saturday.
In the meantime, don’t shower, work from home and move through all those projects that have been on your to-do list.
